Australian Aid for Ireland presents Easter Centenary Commemoration

For the past 30 years Australian Aid for Ireland have been commemorating the Easter 1916 Rising on Easter Monday in Perth.

For 2016, to commemorate the centenary, in addition to the traditional ceremony, the AAI have arranged for a slide show with short historical presentation by a local Irish historian. Two groups of musicians will provide entertainment, one Irish Traditional Music and the other Irish ballad performance.

The commemoration will take place at the Irish Club, 61 Townshend Road, Subiaco from 1pm.
