Convicted on a comma: the Trial of Roger Casement

Bloomsday in Melbourne presents 'Convicted on a comma: the Trial of Roger Casement'

Old Council Chamber, Trades Hall
Melbourne

5 - 6 August

The Embassy of Ireland is pleased to be able to support Bloomsday in Melbourne's original production commemorating the events of 1916.

This original production will tell the story of the trial of Roger Casement, and will detail some of his extraordinarily brave history. The script is currently in production and will be based on transcripts of the trial. It also aims to interweave accounts of the history of the events that led to Casement's downfall.

There will be three performances which will coincide with the centenary of Roger Casement's execution.
