This year, seventeen Irish agri-sector companies, supported by Enterprise Ireland, exhibited at the event. Sales secured by Irish companies were in excess of $1m at the event itself, with a further $5m potential sales developed.

Fieldays has an exhibition and demonstration space covering 88 hectares. This year it attracted in excess of 126,000 visitors including over 1,000 exhibitors from 38 different countries.

Ambassador White, with Enterprise Ireland, hosted a working dinner on the eve of the event for the Irish exhibitors, their local partner companies, clients and senior figures in the agriculture sector in New Zealand.

The Ambassador spoke to several media outlets at the event and had a few words with New Zealand Prime Minister John Key at the official opening.
