Canadian Association for Irish Studies (CAIS)
The Canadian Association for Irish Studies (CAIS) has been serving students of Irish culture for over thirty years, seeking to foster and encourage the study of Irish culture in Canada. Every year, CAIS convenes at one of Canada's universities for a celebration of Irish culture and heritage.

The School of Canadian Irish Studies offers programs dealing with Ireland’s rich history and culture, as well as the Irish abroad, especially in Canada. Undergraduate students can take a Major or Minor, while graduate students can pursue various options at the MA and PhD levels.

Celtic Studies, St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia
The discipline of Celtic Studies extends into a wide range of topics, including archaeology, art, music, literature, folklore, religion, dance, immigration, and ethnic studies, from about 800 BC to the present. Students may pursue Celtic Studies as a major, advanced major, honours, or at the graduate level including a Master of Arts in Celtic Studies.

Ireland Canada University Foundation
The Ireland Canada University Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1993 for the purpose of encouraging and facilitating academic links between institutions and scholars in both Ireland and Canada. The Foundation operates the Dobbin Scholarship Programme which grants awards of short term visiting scholarships to both Irish and Canadian scholars in support of their research which relates to both countries, and the Irish Language Programme which supports the growth and development of the Irish language in Canada. The new James M. Flaherty Scholarship Program will support educational exchange and partnership between Canada and Ireland at the highest level of academia.

The Ireland Fund of Canada
The Ireland Fund’s academic partnerships include providing funding to Irish students to study in Canada and for Canadian students to study in Ireland. The Ireland Fund is also committed to the preservation of the Irish language and provide funding to academic institutions providing courses in Irish language, culture and tradition.
