Authenticating Documents
Overview
Governments and organisations sometimes require that documents issued abroad be apostilled or authenticated before they can accept them.

Canadian Global Affairs can apostille or authenticate Canadian documents. The Consulate General of Ireland can then authenticate these for use in Ireland.
The Consulate General Toronto can legalise certain Canadian documents for use in Ireland. We can also certify copies of Irish passports and original public documents produced at the Consulate General through our appointment system.
