Anne Enright in Sydney

The Consulate was delighted to partner with Sydney Writers Festival again this year and to support the participation of the inaugural Laureate for Irish Fiction, Anne Enright. The Festival ran from 22nd to 28th May and drew large crowds to the over 300 events it staged.

Anne Enright was one of the headline draws of the Festival and took part in four sell-out events, including the opening night gala. More details of the events Ms Enright took part in.

Following the Festival, Ms Enright was a guest of Irish Studies at UNSW where she was made the inaugural Thomas Keneally fellow. More information on Irish Studies at UNSW.
