An informal evening of Irish poetry, music & whiskey
The Consul General will host an informal evening of Irish poetry & music with a special tasting of Hyde Irish Whiskey, to welcome the visiting Irish speakers and delegates attending an Irish Literary Conference in the Chinese University of Hong Kong & the Hong Kong Institute of Education on 27/28 May.
ter Ryan, Consul General of Ireland invites you to join him for an evening of Irish poetry & music with a special tasting of Hyde Irish Whiskey, to welcome the visiting Irish speakers and delegates attending an Irish Literary Conference ‘Post-Crash Irish Literature and Culture: Its Emergence and Influence’ which will take place in the Chinese University of Hong Kong & the Hong Kong Institute of Education from 27-28 May.
Visiting poets will include Trevor Joyce, Billy Ramsell, Ailbhe Ní Ghearrbhuigh, Dimitris Lyacos & Nicholas Wong.
Another special guest, Conor Hyde of Hyde Irish Whiskey in County Cork will join us to introduce the Irish Single Malt Whiskey of the Year 2016.
