Consulate hosts business-focused events

The Consulate General and Enterprise Ireland hosted a day of business-focused events on 13 November. The afternoon saw a ‘Get Set Scotland’ workshop for new market entrants with guest speakers providing advice on the Scottish market. A larger event was held in the evening focusing on opportunities for Irish firms in the transport infrastructure sector in Scotland, as well as offering business networking for the representatives of many Irish companies.

CG Bourne emphasised the Consulate’s commitment to supporting Irish businesses in Scotland, and highlighted the great opportunities that exist for them here. Both looked forward to upcoming Enterprise Ireland-organised events in Scotland.
