Visit to Nashville by the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Mr Paschal Donohoe, T.D.

Minister Paschal Donohoe visited Nashville on September 14th accompanied by Consul General Shane Stephens and the CEO of Tourism Ireland, Mr Niall Gibbons.

The tourism and investment-focused programme included productive meetings with the Governor of Tennessee, Mr Bill Haslam, the Mayor of Nashville, Mr Karl Dean, the Global Executive Team of Lonely Planet, Nashville Gaelic Athletic Club and the President and CEO of Nashville Convention and Visitors Corporation.

At an evening event, the Willis Clan joined the Minister to launch Ireland’s Ancient East and announce Tourism Ireland’s sponsorship of Music City Irish Fest, which will take place in Nashville on 12 March 2016.
